Kerstin Hanson
Raised in the upper Midwest, Kerstin came to North Carolina as a newlywed in 1986. Prior to getting married, she worked as lead vocalist for the White Lightening Band in the Minneapolis/St. Paul and surrounding area. She has worked with local Fayetteville musicians to include Last Tree Standing (formerly The Wild Horses Band), and Paddy Gibney. She is now a member of the Cape Fear Songwriter's Guild, and plays around the Cape Fear Region as a solo artist, often inviting guitar-playing friends to sit in with her.
Musical influences include James Taylor, Tori Amos, Sarah MacLaughlan, Sheryl Crow, Jewel, Mary Chapin-Carpenter, and Stevie Nicks. Kerstin's shows include many cover songs of crowd favorites along with some of her own material. Her focus is on a professional show that wraps around and includes the crowd... encouraging them to join in on the fun.
